Sixteen shelves, year-round to seasonal

How to browse by category and keyword

Start on a shelf here rather than in Kakobuy's own search box. The category pages group finds that other shoppers already bought and photographed, which saves you from wading through thousands of near-identical listings. When you open a card you land on a live product page with photos and a link to the seller's original listing.
From there you have two ways into Kakobuy. Paste the product link into the Kakobuy search bar, which is the reliable route for Taobao, Weidian, 1688 and JD links. Or type a keyword in Kakobuy, as in the operator's own tutorial image above, which searches the big marketplaces but returns everything with that word in it. Links win; keywords are for browsing.
How to choose an item worth ordering

Pick the variant before you fall for the photo. Most listings bundle many colourways and sizes into one page, and the photo on the card may show a colour that is sold out or priced differently. Open the variant list and confirm the exact colour name and size label you want.
Then check three numbers on the listing: the item price in yuan, the domestic shipping the seller charges to reach the warehouse, and the weight the listing claims, if any. The first two are what you pay in your first payment. The third decides your second payment, the international freight, which is also where every shipping subsidy and freight coupon in the calendar applies.
Finally, ask whether you can wait. If a shipping window starts in two weeks and your item is heavy, ordering now and shipping inside the window is often the cheapest plan. Light items rarely justify waiting.
How to choose a seller when five shops list the same item

The same item often appears from several shops. Prefer the seller whose listing has many recent sales, buyer photos that match the product photos, and a size chart in centimetres rather than a single "fits all" line. A shop that answers questions in the listing notes is easier for Kakobuy's buyers to deal with when a size runs out.
Watch for listings that use the exact same photos as five other shops but cost far less. That pattern usually means a reseller with no stock, and Kakobuy will come back to you with an out-of-stock notice days later. The day you lose is not a disaster, unless a promotion window closes while you wait. That is the time cost behind seller choice that nobody prints on the product page.
When each shelf sells, and why the calendar matters for it

Promotions on Kakobuy mostly touch international shipping: a percentage subsidy, freight coupons with minimum spends, a flat customs charge per parcel. So the shelves that gain most from timing are the heavy ones. A parcel with two coats and a pair of boxed trainers can weigh several kilos; a parcel of three rings weighs grams.
The table below is our reading, not the operator's. It pairs each group of shelves with its usual buying season and with the part of a Kakobuy notice that actually affects it.
| Shelves | Usual season | What a dated notice changes for it |
|---|---|---|
| Everyday tees, denim, trainers | All year | Weight builds fast with denim and boxed shoes, so a shipping-subsidy week helps most here. |
| Bags, belts, shades, watches, jewellery | Gift seasons; shades in spring | Light parcels. A percentage off freight is worth little in cash; item price matters more. |
| Audio, gadgets, gift sets with liquids | Gift seasons | Battery and liquid items need restricted lines, which narrows the lines a subsidy can apply to. |
| Hoodies, joggers | Autumn and winter | The October festival window falls right when these start selling. |
| Coats and puffers | Late autumn and winter | Heaviest apparel class; a late-November use-by date on earned subsidy can decide when you ship. |
| Women's edit, caps | Mixed | Padded pieces weigh like outerwear. Caps pack bulky; volumetric weight can exceed the scale weight. |
| Match shirts | Season starts and tournaments | Driven by the sports calendar, not by agent festivals. |
Before you order from a find

- Copy the variant into the note. If the link does not import cleanly, Kakobuy's Fill and Buy form asks for specifications and notes. Write colour and size exactly as the seller labels them.
- Read the date on any coupon you mean to use. At checkout Kakobuy lists each coupon with a timestamp. Check it against the notice that issued the coupon.
- Know which payment a promotion touches. Item discounts hit the first payment; freight subsidies and coupons hit the second, often weeks later.
- Keep the storage clock in view. Your items sit free for 100 days after they reach storage. Waiting for a better window is fine; waiting past day 100 is not.
- Do not buy what the operator refuses to carry. Kakobuy's anti-counterfeiting policy prohibits non-authentic goods, and such items can be withheld.
