The Kakobuy October festival notice, taken apart by date
One notice, published 9 October 2026 at 21:47 Beijing time, holding five promotions that open and close on four different days. This page reads them as clocks; for what each coupon is worth, the operator notice has the full table.
Five clocks inside one headline

The operator wrote the festival as a single notice with numbered sections. Read as a calendar, it is five separate promotions with their own start, end and target. The two easiest mistakes are assuming they all end together and assuming they all reduce the same payment.
They do neither. Two sections start on 10 October, three on 15 October. One ends after 48 hours, one after a week, three after three weeks, and one leaves value behind until the end of November. Some reduce the price of goods; most reduce shipping, which you pay later.
The cards below line them up. Dates are as printed in the notice; we read it on 10 October 2026.

The shipping subsidy and its 30 November tail

Section 1 offers a 10% shipping subsidy on eligible products from 10 to 16 October, Beijing time. The notice explains the mechanics in three steps: search for products, check the available subsidy on the product page, and the saving is applied automatically at checkout. It stacks automatically and lands when you pay for international shipping.
Then comes the line that matters most for planning: "Shipping subsidies expire on November 30, 2026." In practice that means the subsidy is attached to goods bought during the week but spent when the parcel ships. A buyer whose eligible purchase records the subsidy during the stated window may still use it for a qualifying mid-November shipment, subject to the account and checkout terms. A buyer who parks goods in the warehouse until December loses it, even though the 100-day free storage would allow the wait.
What the notice does not say: which products count as "eligible", or whether subsidy earned on goods you later return is reversed. If either matters to your order, ask support before relying on it.
The coupon pack: a redemption window, not a use-by date

Section 2 gives a code, KAKOHALLOWEEN, redeemable from 10 to 31 October under User Center, Coupons, Redeem. The pack holds a 10% off shipping coupon with no minimum and a ladder of fixed-amount shipping coupons, each with its own minimum spend, written in the notice as "for shipping over" a yuan figure. We do not repeat the ladder here: the amounts change every festival and the operator page is the place to read them. Read the operator notice
The date question is narrower and the notice leaves it open. "Duration: October 10 to October 31" is clearly the window for redeeming the code. It does not say how long the coupons themselves stay valid once they are in your account. Kakobuy's checkout shows a timestamp next to each coupon; that is the date to trust for a coupon you already hold, not the festival date.
The June festival used an identical eight-tier ladder under the code SUMMER26 with a redemption window of 9 to 30 June. Two festivals four months apart, same structure: if you miss one, the pattern suggests another will follow, though nothing guarantees it.
The flash sale: forty-eight hours, paid inside the window

Section 3 is the only promotion in the notice that touches the price of goods: all products at least 1% off from 15 to 16 October, GMT+8, with some items discounted more. The conditions are strict and printed plainly: orders must be placed and paid inside the event period.
The notice also says shipping discounts can be combined with coupons and promo codes. Read with the dates, that means a buyer who pays for goods on 15 October, inside both the flash sale and the subsidy week, gets the item discount now and the shipping subsidy later, plus any pack coupons at the shipping stage.
The minimum of 1% is small. Its value is mostly that it overlaps the subsidy week. Do not rush a doubtful order to catch it.
Referral rewards and the leaderboard: credit, not cash

Sections 4 and 5 run from 15 to 31 October. A referral counts once the invited friend has topped up a cumulative ¥100 or more. Rewards step up with the number of valid friends, and a separate leaderboard pays the top ten referrers on a fixed scale.
The rules section adds the dates' fine print. Rewards are credited to your Kakobuy account, can only be spent on Kakobuy and cannot be withdrawn. Fake referrals, multiple accounts and proxy top-ups disqualify you. And "partnered accounts are not eligible", which reads as excluding accounts that already work with Kakobuy as partners or promoters.
A friend who signs up on 30 October and tops up on 1 November does not count. The window measures the top-up, not the sign-up.
Section 5 turns the same referrals into a race. Every friend who reaches the ¥100 cumulative top-up counts toward a leaderboard, and the top ten referrers at the close of 31 October win fixed cash rewards, paid, like everything else in this notice, as account credit. A referral made on 31 October in Beijing time counts; one made on 1 November does not.

The rules block, and what happens after 31 October

The fourth rule reserves the "final right of interpretation of all event rules" for Kakobuy. That is standard wording on Chinese platforms, and it means a dispute about eligibility is decided by the operator.
After 31 October, expect the notice to stay up for a while and then leave the list, as the June festival did. Our calendar will keep it, marked as ended, with the 30 November subsidy expiry still visible. By 1 December the printed earning and redemption windows, and the stated subsidy use-by date, have ended. The notice does not establish the expiry of every coupon already issued; check that coupon’s own terms rather than inferring them from a surviving banner.

Match the promotion to a payment
Before ordering, identify the eligible goods and the qualifying payment window. Before shipping, check the account’s subsidy balance, the selected coupon’s timestamp and the final accepted reduction. Retain the checkout breakdown.

Buying today and shipping later are separate checks
Before the item payment, record which product and variant show an eligible subsidy. After the purchase, check whether that entitlement appears in your account. At parcel checkout, confirm the actual deduction before paying for freight. A festival banner on all three screens does not prove those three checks succeeded.
If a seller cancels or an item is returned, do not assume its expected subsidy transfers to another item. Ask how the account entry changes, then budget the parcel using only the reduction actually available. A smaller discount is preferable to rushing an unsuitable replacement solely to preserve the offer.
